Ten TIPS on how to prevent your skin from early aging

Hydrate - Drinking water will help your skin maintain elasticity

Eat healthy - Eating fruits and vegetables can help nourish your skin from the inside out. Look for foods that are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, Lycopene, and other foods that are rich in vitamin C and good sources of vitamin E.

Avoid too much sun exposure - Sunlight also helps our skin make vitamins but too much exposure is dangerous.  Ultraviolet radiation can damage your skin at all levels not just from the surface but deep down into the dermis.

Quit smoking - Chemicals in cigarettes like nicotine can enter your body. Smoking can also make your skin dull and dark due to an increase in melanin.

Cleanse your skin gently - Washing will remove dirt but it is not enough to remove deep-seated dirt. It is important to clean your face with mild products that do not contain alcohol. Also avoid rubbing your skin hard,  over-exfoliating will develop redness and will burn.

Apply a moisturizer - Use the right moisturizer on your skin. Moisturizer will not just help your skin hydrated but it will also make your skin clear and healthy looking, plus it will reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other blemishes,

Stop using skin care products that contain high alcohol or other harsh chemicals

Wear sunscreen - To put it simply, it's pro-aging

Avoid too much alcohol - Drinking too much alcohol will dehydrate your skin which causes dry, wrinkled skin, and will decrease elasticity, simply because alcohol is a diuretic.

Use anti-oxidants -  Antioxidants can help protect your cells by reducing free radicals in your skin or your whole body. Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants that can be found in a variety of foods like black and green tea, grapes, flaxseed, and ohhhh dark chocolates!
